‘El rei Peret’ is a film directed by Esteve Rovira and Héctor Romance, produced by NewCo Audiovisual and TV3 in association with Radiotelevisión Española and with the participation of the Department of Culture.

At Antaviana VFX, we have participated in the post-production with editing, VFX, color grading, graphic design, sound design and mixing, and mastering.

Synopsis: Peret is a gypsy singer who, despite family opposition, becomes the most international artist. Subjected to many pressures by success, his individualistic nature leads him to abandon his career; but Peret returns as the “king of Catalan rumba,” escaping the pressures of success and rescuing the remnants of his family.
