On <\/span>October 23rd<\/b>, we participated in the roundtable discussion titled <\/span>\u201cPost-production and Special Effects: The Magic of Audiovisuals\u201d<\/b>, organized by the <\/span>Catalonia Audiovisual Cluster<\/b> as part of the <\/span>Employment Fair<\/b>. Moderated by <\/span>Eduard Gil Baquero<\/b>, the session became a meeting point to reflect on the role of post-production in the creative audiovisual process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our professionals, <\/span>Anna Aragon\u00e8s<\/b>, VFX Supervisor, and <\/span>Cristina Garm\u00f3n<\/b>, Post-production Coordinator, shared their expertise and practical experience. Their intervention highlighted how <\/span>post-production<\/b>, through <\/span>visual effects<\/b><\/a> and graphic design, can turn any idea into an impactful reality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Complementarity in VFX Teams<\/b><\/h2>\n

During the discussion, emphasis was placed on the <\/span>complementarity of professional roles<\/b> in the post-production process. Anna, specializing in <\/span>composition and graphic design<\/b>, leads the creative supervision of projects, while Cristina, in her role as coordinator, manages resources and ensures the efficiency of <\/span>VFX<\/b><\/a> teams. This close collaboration is crucial to delivering smooth, high-quality projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also stressed the importance of having a <\/span>comprehensive understanding of the audiovisual process<\/b>, from technical aspects to creative ones. This holistic perspective not only improves communication between departments but also enhances the final outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial Intelligence and Lifelong Learning<\/b><\/h2>\n

One of the highlights of the session was the impact of <\/span>Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/b> on the audiovisual industry. As we shared, AI is a valuable tool for streamlining processes and automating tasks, but it still requires <\/span>human oversight<\/b> to ensure it accurately conveys the creative emotions and ideas that define a project.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also encouraged young attendees to <\/span>embrace continuous learning<\/b> and adapt to new technologies. This open mindset is key to navigating a constantly evolving industry.<\/span><\/p>\n
